What is a Theater-Maker?
I *love* theater and performing arts, so much so that I refuse to limit myself to one medium. The more I learn and experiment with, the better I’ll become as an artist and person.
What do I have experience in?
So far, these are the aspects of theater/ art that I’m actively learning that you will see in this website:
Playwriting
I attended the University of Connecticut for their Theater Studies Playwriting concentration, and its my primary theatrical concentration.
Dramaturgy/ New Play Development
In alignment with my personal creative mission, I have a deep dedication to helping people develop their own work as well as my own.
Puppetry
I have experience with performing, building, and developing puppets/ shows that heavily involve puppets. I am most experienced with shadow, object, mask, and hand puppetry.
Production Assistant
I was a PA for the National Puppetry Conference in New London, CT at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center. I was the primary assistant to Fabrizio Montecchi and worked directly for Bart P. Roccobarton.
Crafting
I primarily work with found/ recycled/ repurposed objects. I can also sew (hand and machine) and wood-carve.
Performing
I have acting experience, both as an stage/ screen actor and as a puppeteer.
